Power & Energy Projects
At the inception of the present democratic dispensation in Nigeria (in 1999), the Federal Government of Nigeria resolved to improve on her infrastructural provision nationwide. This needed improvement in domestic and industrial electricity to the people of Nigeria. It also necessitated the rehabilitation of the various Power Generating Stations for the Power Holding Company of Nigeria, PHCN (formerly National Electric Power Authority, NEPA). Oska~Jo & Partners has been at the forefront of this improvement.
The company has been involved in a variety of Power Projects, both Greenfield and Brownfield that have required all Engineering, Project Management and Supervision. The following past completed and commissioned projects can readily be mentioned among others.
Generation
- Rehabilitation of 760 MW, Kainji Hydro Power Station
- Rehabilitation of 1020 MW, Sapele Thermal Power Station
- Olorunsogo 335 MW Simple Cycle Power Plant
- Olorunsogo II 754 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant
- Trans-Amadi 36 MW Gas Turbine Power Plant
- Omoku Gas Turbine Power Station
Transmission
- Delta State, Nigeria: 132 kV Grid Transmission Line from Delta IV Power Station & 2 x 15 MVA substations.
- Delta State, Nigeria: (Ughelli-Oleh-Ogwashi-Uku ) – 132 kV Double Circuit Transmission Line and 132/33 kv substations.
- Rivers State, Nigeria: 132kV State-wide Electrification and 132/33kV Injection Transformer Substations
